New pet

So Mike was driving along on his way to pick up Tyler from a sleepover and spotted something on the road.........our new pet. An eastern box turtle. I can't believe he did it but he actually stopped the car and brought it home. My angels were thrilled. They instantly named him Shelton (don't ask why). But upon some research we think Shelton is a female so the name changed to Shelly :) We made Shelly a home under our back porch which has lattice around it. My angels haven't seen Shelly in a few days though.................... I think she buried herself---I've seen her do that before the angels grabbed her out of her little hole. I'll let ya know if she reappears.

Tyler's baseball team got to attend a Carolina Mudcats game last week, that is a double A baseball team (they are the farm team for the Cincinnatti Reds). We went as a group and the boys got to run out on the field with the players for the Nation Anthem. Tyler got to run out with the center fielder because they are both #11. It was very sweet to see these little boys next to these players with their hats off facing the flag. Too cute. Just an FYI Tyler's team is now 5-1, they are in first place in their division--they beat the undefeated team tonight :)
